    Homestay, Chocolate and Travel

    Spend four delicious weeks exploring French culture through one of its most cherished culinary art forms--chocolat. During your Paris orientation, sample the sweets of world famous chocolatiers. During your three-week homestay, get to know your community with host siblings and friends, cook delicious meals with your new family, and delve into the rich world of bread and chocolate at a renowned culinary school. You'll spend five days in the test kitchen with professional chocolatiers who will share their secrets and technique as you design your own flavors. Your adventure concludes with travel to the famous chocolate-producing cities of Bruges and Brussels in Belgium.

    Sample activities:
    Meet artisan chocolatiers; learn how to make ganache and sample truffles and mendiants; experiment with sweet and savory ingredients to create your own chocolate; explore the museums, theaters, and medieval architecture of Bruges, Belgium.
