Intercollegiate and Extracurricular Activities

The Evangel University Crusaders have an outstanding NAIA sports program. Varsity sports include football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball, golf, and track. Other activities include intercollegiate speech teams, campus media, honor societies, traveling music ensembles, and student government.

Evangel's theme, "Christ is Lord," touches every aspect of campus life spiritual, intellectual, social and physical. Our staff, curriculum and campus activities center around helping students integrate their Christian faith into their chosen career fields.

The Evangel campus is located in Springfield, Missouri, a medium-sized city with ample employment opportunities and strong community values. Located in the heart of Ozark Mountain Country, Springfield is surrounded by scenic lakes and mountains, shopping, restaurants, and hotels. Local attractions include Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Silver Dollar City and Branson entertainment.
