Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programmes are available all year and are suitable for students of any age (16 - 75 years) and language level (beginner to advanced). Ideal for personal interest, business, travel or examination revision purposes. All Eurolingua tutors are fully-qualified teachers and native speakers, experienced in teaching their mother tongue as a foreign language.

The unique Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programme will ensure that you make maximum progress in the shortest possible time, whatever your starting level, beginner to advanced. You live full-board in the home of your fully-qualified foreign language tutor, receiving 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) of individual language tuition, specifically adapted to your own level, learning pace and interests, whether for business or pleasure!! The rest of the time you benefit from lots of conversational practice by participating in the usual everyday family activities of your personal tutor and family and by meeting people in the local community. You may, of course, have as much independent time as you wish. You acquire an authentic accent, total confidence and real fluency in the language.

Highlights

We live in a 4 bedroom house on the outskirts of Venice (Oriago di Mira), only 15 minutes away by bus from this beautiful city, one of the safest cities in the world. The house is situated in the middle of the countryside, on the picturesque Riviera del Brenta, full of the famous Renaissance Villas that can be visited all year round.

We are not far from Padua and Treviso and in an hour you can be either at the beach or in the mountains. The centre of Oriago (the town where we live) is full of shops and cafe and restaurants and it is crossed by the Brenta River, a very picturesque waterway.

The house has a living room with satelitte TV and two sofas, a kitchen, a laundry room, 4 bedrooms, a terrace, a garden with table, chairs and a brick barbecue. We spend many of our evenings just relaxing and watching the local wildlife passing by. In the room there is a satellite TV and free internet access.

All of the family is bilingual (english-italian) and we love to meet new people and to show to other people why the Italian culture and way of life are so fantastic. Staying with us you will experience the typical italian DOLCE VITA, eating outside (weather permitting), taking many excusions in Venice and to all the other beautiful places in the region.

Excursions and Local Attractions
We will visit Venice (the monuments, the islands, the hidden places), the Riviera del Brenta with its beautiful Renaissance villas, Padua and Treviso, we will go to the Dolomiti mountains and the Montello (the capital of Prosecco wine), the lake Garda area and all the surrounding hills. In Veneto everyday there is something to do and the weather is quite good all year round.
