Designing Public Events is a summer campus addressed to young professionals in the field of design, communication and culture and final year post-graduated students in design. One week of theoretical and practical lessons on the organization of public events, conducted in English, in the setting of the Umbrian countryside.
Organized by esterni in collaboration with Politecnico of Milano, with the participation of international guests. The campus is aimed to enhance and develop personal skills in organizing and managing cultural events, to support studies, to enrich the own portfolio and to simply have fun while learning. In a week, participants will go through all the steps needed to conceive and put in place an event in a public space.
By the end of the experience, participants will be able to manage a variety of tools and a method to design and implement a public space event.
The program have a limited number of places (16) that will be therefore assigned on the basis of CV and motivation letter. The participation fee is 1,200 Euro and includes: class work, lectures, general equipment for the event setting up, accommodation and meals. It does not include: air fare and local transport.
