The beauty of its landscapes, tied in with the elegance of salsa and the empathy of the Colombians, will most certainly seduce you!

Cartagena, Colombia:

Jewel of the Colombian coast, animated by the Caribbean and basked in the glory of its historical importance, Cartagena breathes a joy of living and radiates beauty. What was once the principal military stronghold in Colombia during the time of the Spanish reign in South America deserves its title of mother city of the country. Cartagena is the largest fortified city of the New World and owes its spectacular military buildings to the doggedness of French and English pirates against whom the Spanish occupiers had to protect themselves. In short, you cannot visit Cartagena without delving into its colonial era ! As for the Caribbean, it bathes Cartagena with turquoise waters from its sea...which no-one can resist under the blazing sun. When the bright stars disappear, the Caribbean invades the bars and terraces with its languid rhythms. Come and dance!
