  • Highlights

    We have language schools in nine destinations:

    * Berlin
    Berlin has seen so many historic upheavals over the past one hundred years that is now reinventing itself with a new face, a new identity. In fact, since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the German capital seems to want to move faster than time itself by launching itself into an incredible race to forge its own destiny and to create a new mythology for itself.

    * Cologne
    Cologne is Germany's welcoming and open city par excellence. Its population, approaching one million inhabitants, is appreciated for its sense of humour and its pleasure in finding company. The city really takes on an air of madness during its spectacular Carnival.

    * Frankfurt
    Frankfurt owes its nickname, "Mainhattan", to the famous skyline outlined by the skyscrapers that line the banks of the River Main. If Norman Foster's Commerzbank Tower is the highest tower, go up to the panoramic terrace of the Maintower, on the 56th floor, for the best view of what has become of the former "Franconovurd" of Charlemagne. A market city since the Middle Ages, a financial capital and communication centre for modern Europe, Goethe's birthplace is also an important university and cultural metropolis. Between the "Eiserner Steg" and the "Friedensbrüke", the 13 museums of the Museumsufer form a magnificent cultural avenue alongside the water. With its narrow laneways, timber houses and café terraces that invite you to saunter along, life in the old districts of this cosmopolitan metropolis is rather peaceful. Take the time to try the famous "Ebbelwoi" cider with your friends and to choose, from the numerous student parties that Frankfurt has to offer, the party that sounds the best!

    * Freiburg
    Freiburg im Breisgau, in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, in the south of Germany, has numerous advantages to offer students. Situated only 60km away from Bssel-Mulhouse international airport, this university city of around 200,000 inhabitants offers every possibility of fashionable entertainment.

    * Hamburg
    With a lake at the heart of the city, two rivers which cross through it, the Baltic Sea only an hour's drive away, in the northern city of Hamburg, you can enjoy walks and fresh water. Its inhabitants are sure that they live in the most beautiful city in the world..will they be able to convince you? With 2.5 million inhabitants, the free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany. Distinguished by its rich eventful history, cosmopolitan Hamburg, a commercial and cultural metropolis, has a special relationship with the sea and its rivers thanks to its geographical position. Water is everywhere in Hamburg. With its 2428 bridges, more than the cities of Venice and Amsterdam put together, the most important German port is open to the whole world. Located at the heart of the city, the large Alster Lake offers circuits of discovery which end up at the centre of the City. There, the terraces of numerous cafés will welcome you for favourite moments between shopping and walls. You will also certainly enjoy the choice on offer of its 31 theatres, its dozens of concert halls, its 50 museums, and the 4000 restaurants which make this city highly appreciated by people from all over the world. Viel Spass!

    * Heidelberg
    The former capital of the Palatinate is certainly romantic. Heidelberg Castle, the residence of the Prince Electors for five centuries, became a place of pilgrimage for artists of the "Sturm und Drang" literary movement: Clemens and Bettina Brentano, Achim von Arnim, Goerres... the new princes of German romanticism following on from Goethe. But the city's radiance does not only come from the Baroque ruins of its fortress, nor the poems that it has inspired; it was in Heidelberg, in 1386, that the first German university was built, now one of the most reputed in the world. Internationally recognised for its first class scientific research facilities and modern technology centre, Heidelberg is the twin city of Cambridge in England. If the prestige of the city was established thanks to the learned scholars of its university (Helmholtz, Bunsen, Kuno Fischer or Max Planck), Heidelberg - linked with Mannheim and Ludwigshafen to form the Rhein-Neckar industrial pole- has today become a place of economic importance that has always succeeded in combining higher education with industry. Beautiful and serious, Heidelberg also knows how to have a good time, at the concerts held in the Castle's courtyard or the numerous parties organised by its students. An important cultural centre, a scientific and economic seat, festive and romantic at the same time, Heidelberg is sure to enchant you.

    * Lindau
    The island town of Lindau is situated on the waters of Lake Constance, itself located on the border between southern Germany and eastern Switzerland. Originally a simple fishing village, the town has branched out into the surrounding villages and now has close to 26,000 inhabitants.

    * Munich
    There is much more to Munich than great beer and the Oktoberfest. From a touristic point of view, the Bavarian capital is the second most visited city in Germany, after Berlin. It is a cultural paradise, with an astounding choice of museums and a vibrant artistic scene. The city has an open feel about it, thanks to its numerous parks and wide avenues. If you keep the two domes of the Frauenkirche in sight, you will always manage to find your way around in this city of almost two million inhabitants.

    * Regensburg
    Regensburg has been defined by the great architect Norman Foster as "one of the most beautiful cities in the world".
    Its symbol is certainly the "Steinerne" bridge on the Danube and from the tower of the same name, you can enjoy the mind-blowing view of the rooftops and the surroundings of the city
