Why this location for a Barcelona Hostel?

We are glad to offer you this hostel in the heart of Passeig the Gràcia in Barcelona, because this street was designed from the beginning to be Barcelona’s Grand Avenue, and is also home to Gaudí’s most accomplished work and one of Modernism’s best examples, the Pedrera or Casa Milà. Today passeig the Gràcia is an eminently commercial avenue, in the style of the great European boulevards. That’s why we are so proud of having a hostel in this location.

Persons under the age of 18 years are only allowed to stay in private rooms or dormitory rooms that are booked for use of one family or group of persons, and can not share dormitory rooms with other guests. People under 18 years old must travel with their parents or legal tutor.

Location

You can reach all stops inside the city limits with tickets of zone 1 Tickets are valid for bus, subway and transfers are allowed. The cost for a single is EUR1.30. A ten travel pass is EUR7.20. So it makes sense to buy a ten travel pass if you are planning three or more journeys a day. Make sure that you validate (stamp) the ticket before you get on the train!

1.- From Sants Train Station (The Main Train Station)
There are 3 possibilities: Bus, Subway or Taxi

METRO
We recommend to use the METRO (Tube/Underground/Subway):
Look for the metro icon inside the train station

Look for the the M sign (red M on a white square). Get on subway to "Passeig de Gracia" L3 (green line), direction "Trinitat Nova" for 8 stops. Get off the train and follow the signs to the exit "Consell de cent" . We are the big corner building at the intersection of "Passeig de Gracia and Consell de cent". Benvingut!!!

Costs EUR1.20 per person (you can get a ticket in the station).

BY BUS
The bus line 43 goes from the main Train station to Passeig Gracia street and Valencia street from there you have to walk two streets down to arrive to our Hostel. The bus leaves from the corner Avenida Roma and Tarragona in front of the square Paísos Catalans (look for the Bus signs).
