Volunteers and interns are expected to participate in at least 25 hours of kindergarten activities per week. We strongly encourage interns to relax and enjoy the Italian culture for the remaining hours.
The program is open to English native speakers who are currently completing or have recently completed (within the last 18 months) a college-level degree. Students enrolled in an M.A. or Ph.D. program of Italian language and culture or Education at a North-American university are also encouraged to apply.
While the program is intended for students or recent graduates of Italian or Education, it is also open to those enrolled in other disciplines who would like to have an intercultural experience of study and training in an Italian school.
We have both internship and long term job opportunities. Fluency in Italian and TESL or TEFL certification are helpful but not required.
We offer round trip flight and/or lodging to the best volunteer candidates with health and work insurance. We offer a USD 600-1200, lodging, health and work insurance to our most qualified intern candidates.

Our school is an English Immersion preschool for children between 18 months and 5 years old. English Immersion means that English is the language used to teach every subject. Our main goal is to make our students bilingual. Moreover, the school seeks to: promote inter-culture education; promote collaboration among teachers in an intercultural formative environment; prevent racial prejudice and social exclusion phenomena. We offer round trip flight and/or lodging to the best volunteer candidates. We also have paid internships to the most qualified candidates!
