Description

The camp operates July through August, with 4 two-week sessions in all. There will be approximately 20 children in each session, divided by age into 2 groups. ELI is looking to place two volunteers per session - you can sign up for just one two-week session or the entire two months: it's up to you.

Highlights

You'll begin your adventure in Krakow, with 2 days of orientation before heading to camp located in or very near the Tatra mountains. Once there, you'll join trained Polish counselors who also work and live at the site. Facilities will be simple but adequate: You'll live in summer resort-type housing (not tents) with meals served cafeteria-style.

There is no typical ELI volunteer. We work with people from all over the world and a variety of backgrounds. ELI has placed volunteers ranging in age from 18-81. Successful volunteers are flexible, upbeat, energetic, and inquisitive.
