  • Description

Journalism Internship in Ecuador, Latin America for journalism careers/students.

Taking a volunteer or internship program abroad is an extraordinary way to gain international hands-on experience. If you have an interest in media and journalism issues, our media and journalism voluntary internship is an incredible opportunity to put in practices your academic knowledge or skills. Our journalism and media voluntary internship placements are designed to provide practical training in areas of media communication.

You can choose to work on a print journalism placement - working with a newspaper, magazines or editorial agency - or on a broadcast placement, where you will work with a radio or TV station - or in one of the most innovative internet journalism outlets. In short, whatever be the election of your preference, our professional enriching experience will set you on the right track and you will learn many new things and may be able to teach your new colleagues something as well.

We place undergraduate or recent-graduate journalism careers/students with well established agencies where they can be involved in reporting, article writing, interviewing, photojournalism, editing, etc. You will need to have honesty and a strong interest to work in journalism. Participants looking to gain experience with documentary film, printed materials such as brochures/etc, and other communications methods are welcome to volunteer-intern in one of our agencies.

Ecuador is a Spanish-speaking country and therefore an intermediate level of Spanish is highly recommended and necessary.

ELEP Volunteer & Internship Programs organizes and manages media and journalism voluntary internships throughout the year. Our media and journalism voluntary internship start every Monday of the year with a minimum participation of 9 weeks.
