ELEP Volunteer Program is an Ecuadorian voluntary service managed by local people and works with community based organizations throughout Ecuador to offer volunteer opportunities that benefit the locals. Our institution is a leading organizer of volunteer work placements in a wide range of community service projects throughout Ecuador, so if you are taking time out from study or from a busy job, we can help you to make meaningful contribution to Ecuadorian society by volunteering. With us you'll have a unique experience that is fulfilling and very worthwhile.
Who can participate? Everyone (college, undergraduate or recent graduate students, gap year, career break, professionals, retired, etc.) anxious in collaborating and gain a unique cultural learning experience is welcome to volunteer.
Our amazing volunteer program in Ecuador gives volunteers the opportunity to work with both: humanitarian and ecological voluntary service projects. In compensation their collaboration, ELEP gives them Spanish lessons for free in order to gain new language skills or improve it. Besides, while volunteering on their voluntary service project in Ecuador, volunteers will live with a local family in the lovely environment, feeling like at home and learning about the Ecuadorian and Latin culture.
Humanitarian projects include: teaching English, education, healthcare medical and nursing, HIV/AIDS, human rights, micro-enterprise, micro-credits, childcare (orphanage, day care and street kids), construction work, veterinary medicine, etc.
Ecological projects include: general conservation, organic farm and animal care.
Whether you want to travel with a purpose and make a real difference in the lives of underprivileged people, ELEP Volunteer Program and local Ecuadorian communities are waiting for you.
Do not forget, ELEP Volunteer Program match your skills and interests with our host community's goals.
