Welcome to our Rural Tourism Centre focused on health and pleasantness. Very close to the city of Leon (in the village of Quintana de Raneros at only 8Km away) you can find “El Barreal”, a new bio-ecological house recently built following environmental guidelines preserving the rural atmosphere around it.

There are six large rooms available, each one with its own personality, where you can find peace and tranquillity. Prodigio, Otoño, Estrella and Catedral are double rooms, with two 105cm width beds. If you would like a king size bed, the Viento room or the Special Suite called Reina, are the ones for you.

All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, TV, wooden bamboo floors, wooden ceilings and quaint views of Quintana de Raneros village.

There is a large cosy dinning room and a different relaxation and/or reading area with a French chimney that you can enjoy.

Outside, El Barreal offers a wide garden, divided in different areas: one tiny ecological garden to produce tomatoes and other vegetables and a swimming pool spa provided with solar energy to keep water at nice temperature.

Location

El Barreal is located in the tiny and hospitable village of Quintana de Raneros, close to the very old wineries , built buried as the León traditional custom . You can discover the city of León, only 8Km away, with its tradition, its Roman heritage, its gastronomy, etc.

El Barreal is only 1,5Km away from the Santiago Way, and just 4Km from “La Virgen del Camino” Sanctuary.

If you passion is golf you can also enjoy the León Golf Club, only 6 Km away, an international standard golf court. Please, let us know since we have a special agreement with them.

We will be pleased to suggest routes through the county, otherwise where “tapear” or visit restaurants and bares in León.

León Airports is only 4Km and if you come by car:

* From Madrid (326Km) by A66 Highway , taking 149 exit to La Bañeza and finally first right way to Chozas de Abajo to end straight to Quintana de Raneros (very near to the church)
* From Oviedo (126Km) by A66 to León and taking exit to La Virgen del Camino
