Live the Language in Costa Rica with EF
Description
Study Spanish and explore the culture and wildlife of Costa Rica at one of the best schools in the country - the EF Centro Internacional de Español in Playa Tamarindo. As one of very few Spanish schools in Costa Rica with the prestigious Instituto Cervantes accreditation, the EF school combines the best teaching with the widest choice of free time excursions to explore the natural wonders of Costa Rica.
EF's colonial style villa is just a few minutes' walk from a beautiful beach, so you can study Spanish in the morning and learn to surf in the afternoon. You don't have to go far after your Spanish class to experience nature. Howler Monkeys can often be seen swinging on branches throughout town.
EF offers courses for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced, for adults and students aged 16 and above. Courses start every Monday and you can stay as long as you'd like, from one or two weeks up to a whole academic year in Central America. U.S. students can receive college credit for courses of 4 weeks and longer.
Personalize your program by choosing the intensity of your Spanish course and adding special interest classes like salsa dancing or ecotourism. At EF you can also prepare for the official DELE Spanish exam or combine your studies with volunteer work in a social/educational field or in environmental protection.
You can choose to stay in EF's onsite student residence, alongside students from all over the world, or with a typical local host family.
You'll also expand your knowledge of the local customs through our EF staff, natives of Costa Rica who enjoy sharing their culture. EF arranges trips to the most exciting places in Costa Rica, and makes sure you get to experience the culture like a native. Live the language with EF!
