Study Spanish and explore the amazing city of Barcelona on the Mediterranean Sea. The centrally located EF Centro Internacional de Espanol combines the best teaching and facilities with the widest choice of classes and free time excursions to make the most of your time in Spain.

EF's school is in a glass building with bright classrooms, modern language labs, and an outdoor patio area for studying or lounging after class. The school is centrally located in the bustling university area, just minutes from the famous 'Las Ramblas' and near all the major sights, the harbor and the beach.

EF Barcelona offers Spanish courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced, for adults and students aged 16 and above. Courses start every Monday and you can stay as long as you'd like, from two weeks up to a whole academic year in Barcelona. U.S. students can receive college credit for courses of 4 weeks and longer.

Personalize your program by choosing the intensity of your Spanish course and adding special interest classes like architecture, art history or Spanish music. Adults and professionals study separately and can choose among a wide range of business related special interest classes. At EF you can also prepare for the official DELE Spanish exam or combine your studies with a professional internship in order to practice your language skills in a work environment.

You can choose to stay in one of EF's student residences, alongside students from all over the world, or with a Spanish host family.

EF's full time activities staff arrange excursions, sport tournaments, parties, cultural events and weekend trips so you can get to know Spain from and insider's perspective and practice your Spanish in your free time. Live the language with EF!
