EF English First is recruiting qualified English language teachers to take up posts within its network of schools in Saudi Arabia. EF English First is a network of over 200 language schools operating in non-English speaking countries. EF's schools in Saudi Arabia are based in Al Khobar, Riyadh, Jeddah, Yanbu, Taif and Dammam.
EF teachers in Saudi Arabia will be expected to teach a variety of learner groups including teenagers and adults. EF teachers will be following EF's curriculum for all courses taught.
Same friendly EF teaching community.
27,000 thousand EF teachers worldwide cannot be wrong. Our teachers tell us the reason that keeps them teaching English in Saudi Arabia with EF is the fantastic exposure to a new and exciting culture, friendly people and great opportunities to expand their horizons.
After gaining decades of experience teaching English worldwide, EF truly believes that behind every student success is invariably a story about a great teacher with a passion. It is thanks to the teaching staff that EF has turned into one of the world's largest private language teaching organizations today. And it is also because of our people that EF is such a dynamic and fun place to work. Teaching in Saudi Arabia is a fun, rewarding experience that you will remember for a lifetime.
Candidates must have recognized teaching English as a foreign language certification, like the EF Certificate in TEFL, which contains a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice (equivalent qualifications like the CELTA or SIT TESOL are also acceptable). EFL classroom experience is also desirable, but not essential. In some cases, extensive relevant TEFL experience can be considered in lieu of formal TEFL qualifications.
Candidates should be motivated, enthusiastic and open to new experiences. EF English First offers subsidised TEFL training in several locations in the UK, Spain, the Czech Republic, USA and Thailand for candidates not meeting the above requirements. Please visit our website for more details.
