Ecoteer is totally different to other volunteering agencies in fact it may sound too good to be true. Ecoteer is a directory of cheap low cost volunteering projects some of our projects even offer free food and board! Search our database and you can find placements in all sorts of fields - conservation, eco-tourism, teaching or humanitarian. For example you could join our turtle conservation project in Costa Rica, teach English in Mongolia or promote AIDS/HIV awareness in Uganda.

The costs you pay usually covers your food and accommodation and some projects ask for a one-off donation to help develop the program.

For example, at our turtle project in Costa Rica you pay just GBP10 per day!! So for a two week program you pay GBP140 plus the GBP15 annual Ecoteer membership and your transport costs! Please note life membership is now available for GBP25.
