Ecologia Youth Trust offers Russian Language Courses for Beginners and Intermediate students at Kitezh-Orion Children's Community for orphans. After two hours of class in the mornings, you will join in the daily activities in the community. Get involved with games, arts and crafts with the children, help out in the kitchen or garden or ongoing building projects. Living alongside Russian speakers in a friendly and active community will quickly improve your language skills.

Highlights

How is this different from all the other Russian Language Courses on offer?

You will receive 10 hours tuition per week from an enthusiastic young teacher who has been a member of the Kitezh-Orion communities for three years. Your teacher, Yulya, is a philologist specialised in Russian Literature, and is committed to working with children at Kitezh. She will give you individual attention and expert tuition in Russian Grammar, Language and Literature.

In the summer, many Russian students come to volunteer at Orion, so there is a fun and active group of young people there. Evenings are bound to include singing around a bonfire, Russian style!

If you wish to stay on for up to 2 months longer as a volunteer, either at Orion or at Kitezh, you can easily do so.
