Description

The project is located in a day care school which mothers have been working together in this place for their own benefits and for all the mothers who don't have a place where their children can stay while they are working. The children are from 8 months to 11 years. The day care school has been destined for the children with lower economic resources.

You can help resolving some daily necessities, to take care of them with your heart and your open arms, helping them with their first steps, teaching English, playing, feeding, watching their social abilities and language, helping to do their homework.

You could show your special skills and knowledge in music, dance, paint or any different activities, you will help in their stimulation.

Also others activities will be required by the director as: organization of the classroom or any special necessity. Your job will be much appreciated.

Accommodation:

The volunteers that choose the projects in Quito and Conocoto, they will stay with a friendly Ecuadorian host family near to the place of the program, the volunteers have their own room.

Highlights

The volunteers of the project can benefit experience a different culture, learning or improving the Spanish language. The volunteers will receive a certificate the end of the program. It's a good experience.

We are a non-profit organization which is legally recognized by the Ecuadorian Government. Volunteers with Eco Volunteer UP have the choice of many worthy programs, such as vulnerable orphanages, institutes for children with disabilities, street children and local indigenous communities. There are volunteer programs located in and around Quito, the capital of Ecuador, as well as programs located in the Cloud Forest and its communities close to Quito, the Ecuadorian Amazon, the Galapagos Islands and other key places around Ecuador.
