This Spanish immersion program takes place in Salamanca, a small city in western Spain. Salamanca boasts a rich history, the world's second oldest university (founded in 1215) and a vibrant atmosphere. Our partner school is located in the historic center of Salamanca, less than a 5-minute walk from the Plaza Mayor. The proposed curriculum and activities are designed to intrigue and motivate students, ensuring a systematic learning process. Classes are small, 8 students on average, and students also have free access to the Internet in the school's WiFi area.
Courses are intended both for students and foreign language teachers of Spanish. The Hispanic Studies curriculum provides participants with general and specific knowledge about Spanish language and culture.
An intermediate level of Spanish is required to enroll in this program.
The program includes 20 to 25 hours per week of instruction and you can choose from a variety of subjects.
To obtain the Diploma de Estudios Hispanicos, the student must enroll in a minimum of 4 subjects and can select up to 6 (from the following list):
* Spanish Language (intermediate, advanced, superior, superior plus)
* General History of Spanish Literature
* General History of Spain

Year-round cultural activities are offered free of charge to students: lectures and workshops on history, traditions or current events; movie nights, theater classes, sports, dance lessons, welcome and goodbye party.
Each week guided tours of the city are available to students, allowing for the discovery of the richness of Salamanca. The Colegio itself has a library and reading room with a large number of textbooks, dictionaries, books, newspapers, movies and games available to students.
On weekends, optional excursions are organized for students: Segovia, Leon, Burgos, El Escorial-Avila, La Alberca-Miranda del Castanar, Ciudad Rodrigo, Galicia, Madrid, Toledo, Galicia (Santiago de Compostela), Spain, Andalucia ( Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada).

In this steadily shrinking world where studies and employment are taking an increasingly international tilt, active knowledge of foreign languages is becoming an indispensable skill for students, business people, and even tourists. These skills, however, are extremely difficult to acquire at home. A stay among native speakers of the target languages not only facilitates the learning process, but most experts agree that it is essential to becoming a truly fluent speaker. With over 15 years of experience in organizing journeys abroad to study languages, we here at Easy Languages offer a range of courses for every age group, time line and budget. Our students participate in everything from week long holiday trips to England to year long exchanges in Costa Rica. As opposed to the majority of organizations offering services similar to ours, we do not charge any administrative price supplements. There are no hidden costs in any of our programs. All of our prices are clearly displayed in one convenient, readable table directly on the summary page of each program. We are a company that values honesty and believes that full disclosure is part of that commitment.
