Our dive facilities are always in demand for the diver that wishes to follow a career in scuba diving, whether this is as a Divemaster or an instructor. There are other potential interns that are either not old enough to turn dive PRO yet (must be 18 years). Those that want to reach the Master Scuba Diver MSD rating for personal satisfaction. This is PADI's highest non-professional ranked diving certification.

Being a Master Scuba Diver allows the young interns to reach a higher and safer standard of diving, whilst waiting to become old enough to Go Pro. For those wishing to achieve this training certification for satisfaction, it offers them the maximum amount of safety in the water as they are at Rescue Diver level with additional specialty diving skills under their belts.

The intern training will take place along side the professional internships, allowing for the candidate to see and learn a more than in an ordinary, everyday dive course.

For a non-diver to open water scuba diving instructor in approximately 6 months.

For Certified Divers Shorter time frames are available in approximately 3 - 6 months.

The Instructor internship includes all courses open water, advanced o/w, EFR (medic/cpr) and rescue diver courses, Divemaster course PLUS your own full set of New MARES Professional scuba dive equipment including a "SUUNTO Gekko" air/nitrox Dive Computer.

All our internship programs include your manuals up to Divemaster level. Materials for your instructor course IDC are included in a Crew-Pak, which has all you need for you IDC. We also know how difficult and expensive it would be to find accommodation in the resort; we also include this in the cost of your Instructor internship.

This is a very important difference, our Internships program offers than the others. Our ability, experience and willingness, will put you ahead of the rest. All of our interns are offered a real chance to assist in our various diving opportunities around the Dive School.

Once you obtain your Divemasters, you will be guiding and taking real divers on dives. This is all voluntary and will no way interrupt any of you training, as this is what you will be doing in the real world. It's all part of you Instructor Internship.

Qualifications

Our scuba diving internship - Traineeships programs/courses in Protaras, Cyprus, require no certification or a beginners certification. If you may wish to have non professional status, go for the Master Scuba Diver rating - the highest PADI non professional dive rating. 

Dive professional internships are not just for the scuba diver that wishes to become professional status Divemaster but you can continue on to your instructor, through the PADI IDC and IE training process Emergency First Response Instructor Training or Padi Specialty Instructor Training.

Our training programs are designed to take you up to Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or to Instructor through a work experience option.

It gives you the possibility to get working experience in guiding certified divers and training student divers. All traineeships offered through Easy Divers Cyprus, are the most comprehensive available. Our diver Traineeship will have the PADI highest credentials and most up to date scuba related programs in Cyprus.

You will have the opportunity of working first-hand with real students in different diving courses and Padi diving programs along-side our experienced team of professional instructors. You will also have the opportunity to learn the day-to-day running of a busy 5 star Pro Dive Padi IDC Centre, in Protaras, Cyprus.

Your internship will enable you to gain practical experience in guiding and teaching, learn different methods from our team instructors. This will make you feel more confident and easier for you to work in the diving industry. You can start your internship at any stage from Non-Diving or Divemaster to Instructor level course.

It can be taken in one part or can be broken down and taken in several parts. We recommend starting the internship before taking your IDC - Instructor Training to get more practical experience. Our interns for the scuba diving Master Scuba Diver Package, Divemaster Internship Package and Instructor Package. Receive a full set of dive gear / equipment.

It's good to become familiar with your equipment early through out your diver training. If you have to change or rent, different scuba equipment constantly, it takes some of the fun and safety out of diving. This is why we include your very own personal set "tools of the trade" to take with you. All of the equipment is made by major dive manufacturers MARES.

You'll get all the gear you see below, including your own personal SUUNTO Gekko dive computer. This is not just a bare necessities of kit or low quality products. You get all the nice extras, like a stainless steel dive knife, compass and boots for your Mares open-heel fins. Should you wish to upgrade, no problem!

This equipment is yours to keep, regardless of whether you complete the internship or not. All of the equipment is sturdy and robust to the job of an active openwater scuba diving instructor.

(All of the dive gear packaged, that is given out from our shop is approximately 2230 Euro in value. If you wish to up-grade any of the equipment, then this is possible. Just ask to upgrade.
