The ECES program was incredible! The support staff was readily available, set up interesting programs, and made it easy to meet everyone early on in the semester. They planned fun trips for nearby cities and even to Poland. Also, connected us to local Czech students and service opportunities. Had the semester of a lifetime traveling every weekend for 3 months and exploring the beautiful city of Prague!
Amazing study abroad experience in Prague

Studying abroad with ECES at Charles University in Prague was one of the best decisions I have made in my college career so far. Katie, our program organizer, was beyond amazing and extremely helpful with making sure our arrival to Prague was smooth, as well as with any questions we had during our semester. There were organized trips to other cities within the Czech Republic and neighboring countries that are very well planned and I would highly recommend taking advantage of them. The academic rigor was easier compared to that of my home University, but the classes that were offered were interesting with professors that were knowledgable. This also left time for travel over the weekends to other countries in Europe. Outside of class and traveling, there were volunteer opportunities and various clubs that we could get involved in through ECES and Charles University.
Prague is a beautiful city and I enjoyed living and studying there. It is also cheap compared to other European cities with a good public transportation system and is also very city. The dorms were smaller than I expected but were centrally located making getting around via the trams and metro easy.
I would highly recommend studying abroad in Prague with ECES if you are considering studying abroad in Europe :)

ECES is a wonderful program. The staff are attentive, responsive, and extraordinarily helpful. The dorm is wonderfully located, in a quiet neighborhood very close to the historic city center. The academics present a wealth of quality material, but are not extremely demanding, leaving plenty of time for travel. Take advantage of all the extracurricular programs and clubs offered by ECES and Charles University!

The ECES Study Abroad Program at Charles University was by far the most exciting, educational, and amazing experience of my life. Living and studying in Prague is comparable to a fairytale. The city is absolutely breathtaking. My courses and Professors were very interesting and incorporated many trips. ECES is extremely helpful in any and every aspect of your abroad experience. There were several trips that were coordinated to different cities and countries that I fully recommend taking advantage of. The central location of Prague also makes trips to other countries very convenient and affordable.
