The city of Venice, with its scenic canals and islands, serves as the participants' outdoor classroom for this month-long summer program. Venice International University, which is located on the island of San Servolo in the spectacular Venetian lagoon, is the site for both student residences and classroom facilities.
The program offers a variety of cultural activities, such as visits to museums, churches, public monuments, and archeological sites, as well as concerts at the Fenice Opera House and in Venetian palaces. Students also have the opportunity to go on day trips to nearby cities, which in the past have included Mantua, Padua, Ravenna, Treviso, Vincenza, and Verona.
