Description

Study Spanish while you get to know and learn to evaluate various Spanish wines, their history, the different production processes and their economic and social importance in Spain. Get to know how to taste wine as well as the characteristics of Spanish wines from the many and diverse regions of Spain.

This 2-week program combines an intensive Spanish language course with specialized wine tasting classes. You will have 4 daily Intensive Spanish classes in the morning or afternoon from Monday to Friday plus wine tasting classes from 7 pm to 8.30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

All the written and audio-visual material is included in the price: videos, guides and a reference book. Additionally, an excursion may be organized to a wine museum (not included in the price).

Highlights

The don Quijote Salamanca school is located in the heart of the old city centre. The building is 100 metres from the famous University of Salamanca and just two minutes away from the stunning and magnificent Plaza Mayor. The school is a restored 16th-century monastery, whose modern materials used for the recent renovation create a natural balance with the style, class and richness class of previous centuries.

The school can be entered through a beautiful courtyard. This courtyard, together with the garden, divides the school into three parts: the offices, the cafeteria and the classrooms. The main building has three floors, 17 classrooms, a recreation room (with computers, video, sound system, etc.), a library, a staff room and three offices.

Our premises were picked 20 years ago to be home for the first don Quijote school. From the beginning, the idea had been clear: to create the largest Spanish as a Foreign Language teaching organization under the slogan "¡Vive el español!" (Live Spanish!). These 20 years of success have been a time of hard work, much involvement and dedication from everyone... and the school remains as youthful and full of illusion today as it did on its first day.
