  • Description

The Psychology program is designed for students of psychology - very few other study abroad programs offer the range of courses in psychology that DIS offers. Students in the Psychology program will enroll in either the Positive Psychology or European Clinical Psychology core course, which is an examination of recent psychological research in the rapidly expanding field of positive psychology. This course will also delve into the constructs of well being and happiness, and the ways in which positive emotions influence cognition, health, wealth, and social relationships.

  • Highlights

Students enrolled in the Positive Psychology core course will participate in a short study tour in Denmark, as well as a longer European study tour to Scotland, Spain, or Italy (you choose) and students in the Clinical Psychology will participate in a short study tour in Denmark, and a longer study tour to Vienna. The study tours, which are included in tuition, form an integral part of the core course. Students will explore and compare how positive psychology is applied in various institutions, organizations, as well as in areas of research in Denmark, Italy, Scotland, Spain, and Vienna. Come to Denmark, and find out why time, and time again, Danes are reported to be the happiest people on earth.
