  • Description

Swaziland has the highest rate of HIV and AIDS in the world. The AIDS pandemic has ravaged the country creating a generation of child-led families and orphans. This experience offers incredible satisfaction by substantially improving the quality of life for families that have been devastated by HIV/AIDS. Our host partner, S.O.S. Childrens Villages, has been caring for children around the world since 1949 and operates three childrens villages in Swaziland. You will help build much needed community centers and sustainable housing for child-led families.

  • Highlights

Volunteers benefit from working in a group, which offers the sense of team work and group accomplishment. Volunteers work with and alongside locals. By working together, one benefits from a real sense of global citizenship and solidarity. All experiences are led by an experienced team leader who helps facilitate the experience. Volunteers benefit from the lasting friendships developed and from the life changing impact of such a unique and meaningful experience. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to experience African culture and see exotic scenery and wildlife.
