  • Description

    Participate in CHI's English Conversation Volunteers Abroad (ECVA) program! CHI will set you up with a host family in the country of your choice. You will live with your family and practice basic English conversation skills for up to 15 hours a week. The program can run from one to three months. Some knowledge of the language is recommended, but not required. Teaching experience is not required. You will have lots of free time to explore the area, make friends and learn about the culture. Language courses may be available - Inquire.

    This program includes: A private room in your host family, meals, a textbook to help you tutor, host family details before your program fee is due, and in-country support.
