Starting Date - four intakes per year (January, April, July, October): 02.04.12; 16.07.12; 08.10.12 -- Program Duration 3 terms of 11 weeks full-time plus a 4 to 6 month internship.
Building on the solid skills acquired for the Advanced Certificate, the Foundation Degree is designed to broaden both culinary expertise and managerial competencies. The Culinary Institute is part of SEG, Swiss Education Group, the World's Leading Hospitality Education Network. A wide range of advantages and benefits are offered to students studying at SEG institutions. For example, each semester Culinary students are given the opportunity to meet with industry leaders from around the world at the SEG International Recruitment Forum (IRF). The event welcomes hotel groups, resorts, airlines, boutique hotels, cruise lines and many other industry groups. At the forum, César Ritz students attend presentations, are interviewed and recruited for full-time employment as well as internship positions.
The Culinary Institute Switzerland degree and diplomas are accredited by the State of Valais and the programme is the first outside the USA to be awarded full accreditation by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation and to have earned special designation as an 'Exemplary Program'.
