Description

We tailor make volunteer placements and match volunteers to projects where their creative skills are best suited and return 100% of profits to the communities we work with which include projects for orphans, abused, abandoned, street and at risk children. Even if you don't believe you are creative we will work with you to make sure your skills are used in a creative way!

Placements are available from as little as two weeks to twelve weeks and beyond depending on the project and how long you've got and we aim to give individual attention and consultancy advice so that you can achieve your personal goals through the arts and arts education.

Local exchange of skills is also encouraged wherever possible so that volunteers learn new skills, projects can become sustainable and international creative communities established.

Devise a play in a Bolivian orphanage. Create a garden. Be in your own travel doco. Write for a street newspaper. Teach Photography to street kids. Juggle, sing, dance, paint, act and creatively change lives while changing your own....

Highlights

While on your volunteer experience we encourage you to strive for an element of public performance, exhibition, installation, recording or publication of work produced during the project as we believe although process is important striving towards a final goal or 'product', whether that be performance, photo exhibition, CD recording or published calendar, provides a tangible goal and Win/Win situation for everyone involved.

Qualifications

- Basic Spanish required or be willing to learn a little before you go.
- Ability to relate to youth and organise workshops, games and extra-curricular activities
- Be able to work independently without supervision.
- Initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm.
