Cornerway offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a charming and stylishly decorated home in the prestigious and established suburb of Durban North. With all the comforts of a home away from home and the professional attention to detail of hostess Barbara Robertson your stay will be a memorable one.

The guest house is set in a well-maintained garden with a large swimming pool and patio facility for your enjoyment. We have seven double ensuite rooms, all elegantly decorated, each with its own unique style. Options for both twin, double and queen beds. Most bathrooms are Victorian style with brass taps and finishes with a selection of shower or ball and claw bath.

Our family suite comprises of two rooms with inter-leading doors; one with double bed and the other with two single beds and shower facility. The honeymoon suit includes its own balcony with sea view. It has a beautiful spacious bathroom with shower and bath facility, double vanity, ball and claw bath, silk curtains and more.

All bedrooms have private entrances, air-conditioning, television, hairdryers, hospitality trays and complimentary sherry in crystal decanters. A generous breakfast is served in the dining room, which is also air-conditioned.

Location

From Durban International:
Follow signs marked "City." Take Victoria Embankment off ramp. Travel along Victoria Embankment and then turn left into Stranger Street. Stranger Street becomes the M4. Take Exit 4 off M4 (Broadway, Durban North). Turn left into Old Mill Way. The Engen Service Station is on your left and Crusaders Rugby Grounds on your right. Stay on Old Mill Way, which runs between the two. Travel up Old Mill Way and turn right into Kensington Drive. Cornerway is the first house on your left.

From Johannesburg:
From N3 take the N2 Port Shepstone, International Airport, Stranger - stay in left lane. N2 Stranger, North Coast. M19 Umgeni Road, M21 Inanda Road. At the traffic light, turn right onto M19 Umgeni Road. Take R102 North Coast Road, Riverside Road. Take the first left into Riverside Road. You will go under a bridge and then turn right onto Riverside Road. Riverside Road becomes Prospect Hall Road, which becomes Tinsley. You will pass the Japanese Gardens on your right, as you come dip the dip you will see a Stop sign/yield. Turn left onto and travel up Old Mill Way, and then turn right into Kensington Drive.
