With an internship in the Tourism and Hospitality industry, you can obtain the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to be successful in your personal career ambitions. Your internship will give you the opportunity to work with several leading hotels, travel agencies, and non-profit eco-tourism organizations in Shanghai and can facilitate a wide range of tourism-related internships, from working behind the front desk at a backpackers or guesthouse to helping local tourism promotion agencies with marketing. In addition, depending on your background and experience, we may be able to facilitate a general hotel management internship, where you would rotate through departments of a hotel.

Shanghai Highlights:
Experience the clash of traditional Chinese culture and modernization firsthand in Shanghai, China. Shanghai culture is a refined mixture of East and West, where the best of both come together often to form something exciting. In Shanghai, you can find everything from traditional tea houses, Tai Chi, calligraphy and Chinese cooking classes to modern museums and edgy art galleries and some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world.
Check out the traditional forms of martial arts and dance practiced early in the morning in the numerous large and well-manicured parks throughout the city. Then, show off your bargaining prowess at the markets, or participate in some of the activities organized by the vibrant expat community, such as game nights or rock climbing and skiing. When you need a break from the city, escape to bamboo forests, water towns and the extensive hiking trails of Morganshan on the city limits. Shanghai is home to world renowned restaurants featuring international and fusion treats as well as locally trained chefs serving up traditional Shanghai fare. Its vibrant nightlife offers everything from trance clubs to salsa parties to Japanese Sake bars to stylish clubs with stunning views of the skyline.
Spend time exploring the natural, cultural and historic relics of ancient and modern China beyond Shanghai's city limits. There are endless places of natural beauty to explore in China, including lush rice fields, bamboo forests, hot springs, fishing villages. Not to mention the man-made wonders such as Terracotta Warriors in Xian, the Potala Palace in Tibet, the Great Wall in Beijing, Great Buddha Leshan in Sichuan and the numerous pagodas and temples.
With so much to do and see in Shanghai and China, we're always happy to provide advice on how to plan your adventure.
