Whether you are looking for a research-based internship, or a clinical health internship, Connect-123 facilitates both in beautiful Cape Town, allowing interns the best opportunities to fulfill their professional aspirations. Interns themselves work with several leading hospitals, clinics, public health research institutes and universities in a varying range of projects and work experiences. Responsibilities range from providing psycho-social support to patients, or conducting clinical and public health research to providing support to nursing staff. Opportunities also exist to attend ward rounds, observe surgeries and visit local communities. Examples of previous projects include research into the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS and assessing the impact of a newly introduced vaccine.

Salary/Pay
