Connect-123 offers a range of different service orientated internship opportunities in Dublin. Internships could involve assisting with childhood literacy projects, mentoring students, working as a teacher's assistant, leading life skills workshops, assisting with sports programs, putting together youth career expos, researching educational policy, and contributing to the overall operations of education programs. Social work internship opportunities include caring for infants and toddlers at orphanages, mentoring and group counseling street children and at-risk youth, carrying out macro-level observations during child-led household home visits, working with homeless people and drug users, working alongside social workers, and working with young people focusing on issues related to HIV/AIDS, sexuality and adolescence.

Things to do in and around the city include visiting the iconic Guinness Storehouse, taking a walk around Trinity College, spending a night out on the town in the Temple Bar or hopping between a few of Dublin's finest pubs - a big part of Dublin's social life and a must for visitors. The countryside is also easy to get to if you feel like a day in the country or a trip to one of the charming seaside towns that are scattered along the coastline.
