This is a Master's degree program that incorporates one-year salaried English teaching positions in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Kumning and their neighboring cities. Compensation details are shown below.

Highlights

With our program, there is very little waiting to experience life and work in China. After a summer of intensive courses at our Irvine campus, you head overseas and immediately start living, working, and studying in China, perhaps in some of the ways you've always imagined.

What will your life be like in China? The MAIS program will prepare you to teach Chinese children and young adults about the English language, conduct research for your capstone project, complete online courses with professors in Irvine, and negotiate living on your own in a new culture.

You will concentrate in either International Business or International Education, and live in such cities as Shanghai and Hangzhou, which are among China's most important historical, cultural and financial centers.
