Casa do Caminho Language School
Casa do Caminho started a language school in Ipanema Rio de Janeiro last March 2009 to offer languages for people who financially support the organization.

We are looking for students & volunteers with teaching experience. We will offer English, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazilian) language classes for adults, teenagers and children at affordable prices.

For students:
For people who are interested in learning Portuguese or Spanish with us while you are financially supporting our organization you can please contact us for more inquiries and reservations.

For teachers we offer:
* Accommodation in Ipanema (close to the beach)
* Free access to participation in language courses
* Option to visit the child center in the weekends to help out

Qualifications

* Experience in teaching English, Spanish or Portuguese.
* Basic knowledge of the Portuguese language
* Willing to stay for a minimum period of 6 months

Casa do Caminho is an orphanage situated in a rural town near a rainforest, outside of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Our mission is to help and take in children and adolescents in vulnerable social situations; to stimulate their development in fraternal cohabitation with nature while offering social, cultural, vocational, and sports programs; to promote the psychosocial restructurization of the family, and ultimately to facilitate the reintegration of this population into their families and society at the appropriate time.
