  • Description

Volunteers are needed to work in each of our three wildlife centers in Bolivia. Work varies from caring for sick and rescued animals to helping with construction of enclosures and maintenance of the centers. We currently care for a variety of animals, including several monkey species, jaguars, pumas, ocelots, many types of birds, and a bear. No prior experience working with animals is required.

Work is hard and days are long but very rewarding. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 15 days and can stay for as long as they like. While we charge volunteers to cover the costs of running the centers, rates decrease the longer a volunteer is with us.

It is not necessary to book a space in advance, as there is always need for extra hands. Currently Parque Jacj Cuisi near Rurrenabaque has the most need for volunteers and is our most basic, but equally we need volunteers at Parque Machia between Santa Cruz and Cochabama and Parque Ambue Ari between north of Santa Cruz.
