  • Highlights

Santo Domingo is the first city of the Americas and walking around the old city is a must. In addition, there are a series of beaches and nature preserves within an hour distance.

CSA's staff will be available to ensure your adaptation and comfort at your work site. Assuming you have intermediate Spanish level, volunteers will participate in a minimum 4-day orientation prior to beginning your service, which is aimed to provide cultural orientation, language brush-up and preparation for your volunteer work. Those with lower Spanish levels will participate in immersion and orientation and later be introduced to the volunteer placement.
