  • Description

Our international business program has been designed with the assistance of leading international companies. Recruitment officers and senior managers of these companies know from first hand experience what it takes to survive in today's globalised business community, and how one has to deal with intercultural differences, as well as what knowledge one needs in highly interdependent, dynamic and rapidly changing environment. Their experience has been a very important starting point in the design of our programs.

The CBS offers an International Business program that allows you to specialise in eight different areas. Cologne being an important town in Germany's tourism industry, as well as the home of many media companies and internationally active companies, we provide specialisation possibilities in six different directions, viz: "European Management", "East Asia Management", "East European Management", "Latin America Management", "Media Management", "Tourism Event Hospitality Management", "International Trade" and "Management Consulting".

During the first semesters of their studies, all students will follow a common track of introductory business courses. We teach you the basics of business administration and accounting, organisation and management, marketing, economics and other fundamental business courses. In addition, all students participate in trainings aimed to enhance their social and analytical skills, as well as intensive language trainings. Students then proceed to follow the specialisation track of their choice.

Our school is growing more connected to the world every year. Intercultural communication skills can only be obtained by those who have studied, worked and lived abroad. Our exchange programs allow students to go abroad without loosing valuable study time. All our partner schools use the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit system and so simply recognise the credit points that you earned while studying abroad.
