Collegium Hieronymi Pragensis is a high-quality educational center specializing in the liberal arts.
In summer, CHP offers two programs: a regular 6-week summer school and a special "Marionettes in Prague" workshop.
During the regular summer school, students enroll in two of the following courses: Milestones of Czech History and Civilization, Challenges to European Politics, Modern Czech Film, Elementary Czech.
Excursions are an integral part of the academic program. Among other places, students visit the Prague Castle, the well preserved Renaissance town of Cesky Krumlov in Southern Bohemia, the 14th century silver mining town of Kutna Hora, and the concentration camp in Terezin. The group will also enjoy the overnight trip to Southern Moravia with a wine casting in private cellar and a boat trip in the Punkva Caves.
Marionettes in Prague program consists of two components, namely a Marionettes Master Class workshop and a Voice Coaching class.
The workshop is ideal for designers, performers, and lovers of puppetry. Students will make wooden carved marionettes and create an original puppet performance that will be presented to the public in Prague and at castles and festivals around the Czech Republic. It is led by Leah Gaffen, Mirek Trejtnar, respected specialists in the field.

Collegium Hieronymi Pragensis was founded in 1997 to provide a study abroad experience to students from leading American institution of higher learning and students of comparable academic standards. In nature, CHP is a European Studies program that focuses on humanities and social science. The core of the CHP student body has been students of Bowdoin College, Brown University, Bryn Mawr College, Columbia College, Haverford College, Claremont McKenna College, Northwestern University, Pomona College, Scripps College, Swarthmore College, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as Yale University Colorado College, Wesleyan University, Vassar College, Carlton College, etc.
