  • Description

    Your host organization is a cultural exchange and international education organization that works with high school exchange, volunteer work, professional internships, Spanish learning and intercultural experience programs.

  • Highlights

    As an intern you will be responsible for the promotion of the programs offered by the organization in Barcelona. You may also be in charge of different tasks like organizing cultural and social activities for the students including city tours, excursions around Barcelona, culture workshops, etc; updating the Web Site, preparing newsletters, contacting organizations and host families, writing articles, organizing data bases, translating or editing documents, among others. You will also perform daily office activities such as answering calls ans assisting in routing activities.

  • Qualifications

    Previous knowledge or skills in public relations is a must, as well as a previous intercultural experience. You should be able to undertake and complete different projects, solve problems, be creative and flexible.

    An intermediate level of Spanish is required. You must also be proficient in any of these: English, German, Portuguese, French or Italian.

    Edition and translation of your internship documentation. 24 hour telephone line to assist you with personal, social, legal, and other personal problems that you may have during your stay in Spain. After finishing the internship you'll receive a certificate awarded by the host organization, and a certificate of participation in COINED International Internship program.
