  • Description

    The host organization where you will carry out your internship is a non governmental organization that works to defend the basic rights and freedom of people. It organizes awareness campaigns, denounces racial discrimination cases, among many others. The organization works at a political level, so it does not offer direct assistance to victims.

  • Highlights

    During your internship you will assist either the Administration Department or the Racism Reports section with activities that can include filing, database updating, public attention and general office work. You may also cooperate with social awareness campaigns.

  • Qualifications

    In order to apply for this internship you must have previous studies or experience in the Journalism, Law or Sociology fields and basic IT skills. You need to be aware of the discrimination issue as you will be analysing discriminatory attitudes from a social and political perspective. You also require an advanced level of Spanish and basic knowledge of Catalan.

    Edition and translation of your internship documentation. 24 hour telephone line to assist you with personal, social, legal, and other personal problems that you may have during your stay in Spain. After finishing the internship you'll receive a certificate awarded by the host organization, and a certificate of participation in COINED International Internship program.
