France
Share |

Location
France: Paris

Term
Fall, Spring

Dates
Spring: January - May; Fall: September - December

  • Description

Live in the "City of Lights" for the semester while taking courses in English and French, befriending the locals, and enjoying the cafe and art culture that this world-class city is renown for!

Marvel at Notre Dame, hang out in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, and put your French to use by ordering a morning baguette on your way to class. The CISabroad Semester in Paris is based at a local French university, which allows you to take classes with French and other international students in either English or French.

    Start getting excited about:

    * Paris - What more can be said? Parks, historic monuments, world-class arts and culture, a true zest for life...It doesn't get much better!

    * Learning in and out of the classroom - Many courses will make the most of the local setting, including trips to museums, galleries, monuments, plazas and parks. Don't expect to just sit in the classroom, learning about French language and culture vicariously - you'll frequently get out to explore it and experience it yourself!

    * Living with fellow students in great local apartments - We've got some great, furnished apartments in the center of the city that you'll share with other like-minded CISabroad students. You can cook for yourselves!

  • Highlights

    * Frequent excursions and field trips to provide practical experience to classroom lessons
    * Live in the heart of an incredible city
    * Fine arts and French language courses available, as well as general electives taught in English
    * Enhance your inner artist with courses that use the city as your backdrop, or visit historic sites of interest you are concurrently learning about in the classroom!
    * Study French at your preferred level: whether it's beginner/survival French or advanced - class sizes are small so you can expect a lot of interaction with your peers and professors
    * Live in fully furnished, very centrally located student apartments - just minutes from the Louvre!
