CIS - Study at Suffolk University Madrid Campus

Share |

Location: Madrid: Spain

Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring

Dates: Fall: early September - mid-December; Spring: early January - early May

  • Description

CIS's Study in Madrid program is located on the campus of Suffolk University Madrid. This is one of only a few campuses in all of Spain to be accredited in the U.S. as well as in Spain and to offer an American-style curriculum. All credit received at Suffolk Madrid will be granted to you on a U.S. university transcript (Suffolk University - Boston) and therefore transfer of credit back to your institution should be an easy process. The faculty in the program come from Spain, Europe and the U.S. and classes are small so that learning takes place in a personalized environment. Best of all, most of the courses are taught in English, but students do have a the option of taking courses taught in Spanish at Universidad San Pablo C.E.U.

The campus is located in the district home to most of the city's universities, libraries and research institutes. Because the campus is centrally located and convenient to subway and bus transportation, students can take full advantage of the amenities offered by this major European capital, including field trips to museums and theaters. As the center for Spanish culture, Madrid provides a wealth of opportunities for cultural activities. In addition, because Madrid is situated near the geographic center of Spain, travelers have easy access to all regions in this fascinating and historically rich country.
