Scholarships are Available

70% of all CISabroad students receive a scholarship or grant. Between our scholarship programs and our affiliate grants, chances are good you'll receive some aid from us! And, this is all on top of our very affordable program prices. We offer the following Scholarships: For all of the following scholarships, simply fill out the CISabroad scholarship application form by May 1 for a fall program, November 1 for a spring program, or May 1 for a summer program. * CISabroad Leadership Scholarship: All students interested in the CISabroad Leadership Scholarship must have at least a 2.5 GPA or higher and complete all scholarship application requirements (please see below for details). Recipients will be required to maintain in online journal while overseas. USD 250-500 for semester programs, USD 100-200 for summer programs. * CISabroad Photo Journalist Scholarship: There is no GPA requirement for these scholarships. Interested students should complete all scholarship application requirements and be sure to tell us why you want to be a CISabroad Photo Journalist. Recipients will be required to maintain an online photo journal with at least 100 photos by the end of their program. USD 100 plus a digital camera for both semester and summer programs. * CISabroad Correspondent Scholarship (semester programs only): Recipients will be required to maintain in online journal while overseas and participate in at least two study abroad-related events upon returning home. USD 500-1,000, multiple awards per term. * CISabroad Green Scholarship: There is no GPA requirement for these scholarships. Interested students should complete all scholarship application requirements. Recipients will participate in at least two green opportunities while overseas and make a presentation on their experience upon returning home. USD 250-500 for semester programs, USD 100-200 for summer programs. We Offer the following Grants (awarded automatically): * CISabroad Early Bird Grant: Be among the Early Bird applicants to any of our programs and get USD 100 off the cost of your program! * CISabroad CPA (Cooperating Partner Alliance) Grants: If your school is an affiliate of CISabroad, you will automatically receive a USD 250 grant for a semester program, or a USD 100 grant for a summer or short-term program. Advisors: if you are interested in all the benefits that come with affiliation (grants, site visits, training webinars to name a few) please contact us. Students: if you are interested in your university becoming an affiliate of CISabroad, please let your study abroad office know! * CISabroad Bring a Friend Grant: Already decided that you want to study abroad, but you don't want to go along? Bring a friend and you'll each receive a USD 250 grant for a semester program or a USD 100 grant for a summer, winter, or internship program. Just be sure that you put your friend's name on your online application (in the "Bring a Friend Grant, Name of Friend" box) and have your friend put your name, and you will both receive the grant. * CISabroad Go Again Grant: Have you already been on a CISabroad study abroad program, but you have the travel bug and can't wait to leave the US again? Well help! Go on another CISabroad program, and you'll receive a USD 250 grant for a semester program or a USD 100 grant for a summer program. CISabroad Diversity Abroad Grant, CISabroad Gilman Grant, CISabroad Golden Key Grant If you receive a Diversity Abroad scholarship, Gilman Grant, or Golden Key Award for your CISabroad program, well give you an additional USD 500 grant, just to say congratulations!
