    Boost your resume with an international teaching job in beautiful Spain! As part of a nationwide multilingual initiative, CIEE has partnered with the Junta de Andalucia to place individuals just like you in paid year-long Language and Culture Assistant positions teaching English in schools in urban or pueblo locations throughout Andalusia. Bring your skills to the table and help educate those in need in local communities, while you find yourself immersed into their culture. Anywhere you teach in Andalusia, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture, share your own way of life, perfect your Spanish language skills, and gain valuable international work experience.

    CIEE offers you three Teach programs in Spain:
    * Teach in Spain - Great for first timers to Spain and anyone who wants a fully-supported program
    * Teach in Spain: Language Immersion - Perfect for those who are enthusiastic about Teaching in Spain but have rusty Spanish skills
    * Teach in Spain: The Basics - Ideal for applicants who have previously studied abroad in Spain and feel comfortable working in a classroom

  • Highlights

    * Pre-departure school placement at a public school in a pueblo, town, or city in Andalusia
    * Support of CIEE professional staff before you depart for Spain
    * Teaching and program guides to help you plan and prepare
    * Pre-departure online orientation training
    * Upgrade ~ Pre-departure TEFL certification
    * Airport transfer on designated arrival date
    * Orientation in Seville (various orientations based on the program you choose)
    * A monthly stipend of Euro 700 to cover living expenses and new adventures, paid holidays too!
    * International medical insurance and 24-hour worldwide assistance provided through the CIEE iNext travel card
    * 24 hour in-country emergency support services via the CIEE office in Seville
    * Visa papers acquisition and visa application advice (apply in person at the Spanish Embassy or Consulate)

  • Qualifications

    The eligibility requirements for the Teach in Spain program include:

    - Bachelors degree in any major
    - Native English language fluency
    - Upper intermediate to advanced level of Spanish skills
    - A high level of commitment, responsibility and flexibility
    - A genuine interest in both Spanish culture and teaching
