Depending on yours, you might live in the capital city of Santiago, the port city of Valparaiso, or the resort town of Via del Mar. Inside the classroom, you will grow professionally and your Spanish language skills will improve as you work with fellow faculty and students; away from the classroom, the outdoor gems and diverse culture of Chile and Latin America await.

Qualifications

You do not need to be a teacher with extensive international experience to apply! If you speak English and Spanish, have a thirst for adventure, and are interested in education - you can immerse yourself in a new culture while you teach.

Basic eligibility requirements for the Teach in Chile program include:
* Bachelors degree in any major
* English as a first language
* Citizenship of the U.S. or other English speaking country
* Upper intermediate to advanced Spanish language skills
* Teaching experience, community involvement, sense of volunteerism, and/or similar experiences preferred
* Experience studying, working, or volunteering abroad desirable
