    The Intensive Language and Culture program is designed to enable study abroad students to develop a higher level of Portuguese language fluency, as well as a critical appreciation of Brazilian life and society. This is achieved through the academic program and cultural immersion activities, including the home stay and excursions in and around the city of Rio de Janeiro.
