  • Description

    CEPA Europe custom arranges internship placements for individual students and student groups in companies or institutions which fit the student's personal interests, academic goals and background as closely as possible. Housing assistance, language preparation and cultural immersion courses are also arranged for each internship placement through CEPA Europe.

  • Highlights

    Weekly meetings with a CEPA Europe on-site Coordinator for 2 months.

    University Credits:
    CEPA Europe does not grant any credits or degrees for the internship program. Credits may be awarded by the student's home institution (as arranged by the home university).

  • Qualifications

    Eligibility:
    * open to students from all study areas
    * Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing OR recent graduates
    * minimum GPA of 3.0 (B)
    * some spoken and written proficiency in the German language is preferred but not required (depending on the field!)
    * practical experience in the desired field of the internship (summer employment, prior internship, etc.)

  • Program Fees Include:

    * Internship placement for 2 months (Can be extended up to 6 months upon request for an additional monthly supplement)
    * Assistance and guidance to prepare your resume and internship cover letter for the very different German standards (Lebenslauf)
    * Research and contacting German companies on your behalf to inquire about the internship possibility
    * Work authorization services
    * Intensive German language course (20 class hours)
    * Orientation & cultural immersion
    * Weekly meeting with the internship on-site coordinator
    * Rent for accommodation in single apartment, at a student residence or something similar

    Not included are:
    * Airfare
    * Passport expenses
    * Health insurance
    * Telephone
    * Deposits for internet / keys / sheets / etc.
    * Meals and other daily living expenses

  • Salary/Pay

    Compensation: Internships two months or less are usually unpaid. For internships three months or longer, compensation is subject to the company's internship compensation policies.
