  • Description

    The courses are designed for teachers of French as a foreign language, both native and non-native speakers, who are confronted with different situations (classes of varying ability, second-language learning, adult learners, French for special interests). The seminars offer the study of a variety of methods, including the most up-to-date approaches, as well as teaching materials and aids. Each seminar is organized around a week of classes with lectures, workshops and round tables. A program of cultural and leisure activities is also available (guided visits, excursions, films, entertainment.)

    Programme: 25 to 30 hours a week depending on the modules and options chosen

    1. Upgrading Language

    Organization of lessons:
    The training comes in language courses and language workshops, supplemented by courses or conferences on culture and civilization.

    Language, culture and civilization:
    Goals: mastery of the subtleties of the French language written and oral, register familiar to register support. Adapted to their various centres of interest, a lexicon and therefore appears to be offered to students. This contribution will enable them to clarify their description of the environment and nuanced understanding of their situations and attitudes they may face in situations of learning the language and culture.

    2. Modules "Teaching of FLE"

    Seminar 1: Methodology FLE
    Further on selecting and using methods FLE (conventional methods, digital &) depending on the needs and audiences. Teaching Method recent methods.

    Seminar 2: Production of teaching materials
    The document authentic service class FLE: the selection of documents and materials, design of equipment for the class and its exploitation.

    Seminar 3: ICT and class FLE
    The new information technologies and communication service teacher FLE: a practical approach (improvement; classroom use).

    Seminar 4: The french through the media
    Approach and systematic use of the media in class FLE: information (one year in France); training in the use of media in class FLE.

    3. Observations class

    Observations of multicultural classes will be the basis of a reflection on the parameters that govern the situation of teaching / learning. They will analyze practices, attitudes, specific materials, conduct and sequence of teaching moments.
