Our graduates will obtain general knowledge and orientation in the field of humanities with a broad perspective on Polish history and culture from ancient times until now. They will explore in detail the transformations of Polish language, literature, theatre, and Jewish traditions that developed in Poland.
MA Studies at CASH allow students to take on independent research challenges with the support and direction of their advisers, and such projects may be a great step on the way to start a PhD programme. After receiving an MA diploma graduates will be well prepared to work in cultural and public institutions that promote knowledge about Polish history, culture, and language, as well as Jewish traditions, they might work for schools, universities, research centers, archives, libraries, and editing houses.
Our MA Programme consist of four concentrations:
* History of Poland and Central Europe
* Jewish Studies
* Comparative Literature
* Theatre Studies
Every course in the programme is taught by leading professors and experts of their respective fields. Every semester distinguished scholars from Europe and the United States are invited to lecture and run seminars. Internships in cultural institutions are also part of the program.
Programme Duration and Conditions
* The study period will last four semesters with a possibility of shortening it to three semesters (after completing all requirements and defending an MA thesis).
* The program is open to students with a bachelor degree, good academic standing, and good command of English.
* Rolling Admissions - applications are reviewed for Fall and Spring semesters.

In addition, each semester we organize a Study and Travel programme. Destinations are chosen to combine education and tourism. Past destinations included:

Bachelors
15,000 PLN / ~USD 5,000
The tuition fee is 15 000 PLN (approx. 5000 USD) per semester, which covers the costs of:
* All obligatory and optional courses, including private tutorials and course materials
* Full access to the CASH computer lab with broadband Internet and multimedia technology, all university libraries, and all other standard university facilities
* CASH student services including dedicated support staff, integration team, internship assistance, orientation, culture shock workshops, and all cultural and tourist events in Krakow organized by CASH
* Transport from the point of arrival to Krakow
* The costs of accommodation and transportation for one (1) CASH study trip
Only three semesters are to be paid, the fourth semester is free of charge.
