Description

The UPF Legal Studies Program was created by the UPF Study Abroad Program and the UPF Law School, and is a pre-law study program for undergraduate students interested in combining their academic studies with travel, living abroad, and language and cultural immersion. Designed as an Honors program, it aims to provide you with initial education and training in the area of law. The program focuses on international and European law, comparative private law, and some specific legal fields with international relevance.

The city also offers a window into the geo- and socio-political systems that have defined Spain and its current autonomous regions for centuries, including the region of Catalonia. In recent years, large numbers of immigrants from Asia, Africa and South America have transformed Barcelona into a center of multiculturalism. As a student with CEA, you'll engage in Barcelona's history and culture through your exploration of the works of Picasso, Dalí and the Fundació Miró on the Monjuic Mountain. See firsthand what makes this city a catalyst for art, music and visual cultures through its contrasting styles of architecture, including medieval Gothic cathedrals and Gaudi's surreal buildings. In your spare time, wander the outdoor markets along Las Ramblas, the city's famous tree-lined promenade, or enjoy a traditional "Paella" at one of the many restaurants by the sea.
